For over 15 years, Rakonheli has been the world's premier engineering house for collective pitch RC helicopter upgrades. Whether you fly a micro indoor Blade Nano S3, an aerobatic Blade mCPX BL2 / 150 S, or the Blade Revolution 235 CP / 230 S Smart, stock plastic rotor heads suffer from a common limitation: ball-link hysteresis and blade grip torsional flex.

Why Plastic Rotor Heads Cause Collective Bounce & Tail Wag
During rapid collective pitch reversals (tic-tocs, hurricanes, and inverted autos), the main blades generate sudden pitch-moment spikes. In a plastic blade grip and two-piece plastic swashplate, this load flexes the pitch horn and tilts the swashplate outer ring, feeding false vibrations into the flybarless (FBL) gyro sensor.
- Rakonheli CNC Precision Swashplate: Built around a high-speed angular contact radial bearing with CNC-machined 7075-T6 inner and outer rings and stainless steel/titanium linkage balls. Zero axial separation or tilting play.
- CNC Main Rotor Hub & Blade Grips: Double radial thrust/ball bearing seats lock feathering spindle alignment, delivering crisp, immediate cyclic response around center stick.
- 3K Carbon Fiber Main Frame & Tail Boom: Increases airframe natural frequency well above main rotor RPM, allowing higher tail gyro gain without high-frequency tail wag.
